A boutique meeting and event planning company focused on corporate and social events. About Gwen Haynes is the owner of Eventworthy. With years of corporate and nonprofit event management experience, as well as 15 years in public relations and communications in the D.C. Metro area. She has managed corporate meetings, conferences, professional development and award luncheons, judicial receptions, regional trainings and social events for adults and children. Her background in PR allows her to design and manage events that meet the clients vision. Prior to founding her own event firm, Gwen provided training, event management and partnership development in the nonprofit, faith and youth & family markets at the Points of Light Foundation (POLF). Before POLF, she focused mainly on media relations and event-related communication strategies for various nonprofit organizations, including a children's health and education organization and an international membership organization. Gwen received her PR training at Fleishman-Hillard, Inc. where she worked with national technology, travel, consumer and education clients, including America Online, the City of Norfolk, Eckerd Drug Stores and Starbucks Coffee.
